(Titulín) Navigation license
Duration:
6 hours
Schedule:
2 hours of theory and 4 hours of navigation practice. No exam, no expiration date.
Get your Navigation License with Taboga
The Navigation License allows you to operate recreational vessels up to 6 meters in length and jet skis during daytime navigation, up to a maximum distance of 2 miles from a port or shelter.
You need to get a medical certificate from a driver center.
(PNB) Basic navigation pattern
Duration:
2 hours of theory per week. Practical classes (8 hours of navigation + 4 hours of radio)

With the title of Basic Navigation Pattern You will be able to navigate boats up to 8 meters in length and sail up to five miles from the coast.
(PER) Skipper of pleasure boats

In person: Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (may vary depending on the session)
Distance: Flexible hours
The title of Recreational Boat Skipper enables to govern vessels of up to 15 meters in length and up to 12 miles from the coast.
With additional practices it allows you to govern sailing vessels and up to 24 meters long

There is also a private class option with flexible hours.
(PY) Yacht Skipper
Duration:
Theory course 3 hours per week + 48 hours of practice

With the title of Yacht Master You will be able to govern vessels of up to 24 meters in length and sail up to 150 miles from the coast. To obtain this certification, you must have the Recreational Boat Skipper (PER) certificate and pass the corresponding exam.

(CY) Yacht Captain
Duration:
Theory course 4 hours per week + 48 hours of practice
Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm (can be modified upon request)
With the title of Yacht Captain You will be able to govern vessels of up to 24 meters in length and sail without limit of distance to the coast. To obtain this qualification, you must first hold a Yachtmaster certificate and pass the corresponding exam.
